The Office of the Registrar of Lobbyists (ORL) has a snazzy new website to help them keep BC government accountable and lobbying-transparent. We followed our usual requirements gathering and strategy process before jumping into design and development. We knew just what was needed for ORL’s new site and it was time to have fun with the design, development and content management system (CMS) integration. The outcome was a pleasing, clean and easy to use. A document management system was developed in the CMS to keep track of the PDF reports and documents presented throughout the website.
The new website is fully responsive and optimized for use on phones, tablets and devices of all sizes. With three unique target audiences, the site presents landing pages for the general public, organizations and consultant lobbyists to quickly find relevant resources. Whether you are looking for the ever popular “Who’s lobbying who” or a specific “Investigation Report”, all documents are indexed, searchable and presented in easy to view grids.
